Road Trip Aholics hit the road in January to visit some favorite spots to start 2020.

We began with a trip from Houston to Canton, TX. Canton in January is not the most ideal. It was chilly and not all the booths were filled. Of course it was only the 2nd weekend of January so many are still in holiday mode. We did a short walk thru, didn’t find any treasures so we continued on our journey.

After a short stop at Olive Garden for lunch. We chose to eat a familiar location as it didn’t seem luck was going our way, so why not hit the casino?

Our journey led us to Choctaw Casino in Durant, OK. We valeted the truck and went in for a little entertainment. At least one of us had a little luck and won our money back.

It seemed like luck had changed and started on our side.

Sunday morning we met some nice people and made a new contact. Earnie was a true pleasure to talk to. She is a co-owner of All Treasures Estate Sales. Right down our alley!

Afterwards we meandered our way home, enjoying the lesser traveled Highway 6 versus Interstate 45!
